Who uses this app
ITI Publisher is used only by the owner of the Inside the Invention YouTube channel, on their own computer, to manage that one channel. It has no other users.
What Google data it accesses
- YouTube upload (
youtube.upload): to upload the channel’s own videos, titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails. - YouTube account, read-only (
youtube.readonly): to confirm uploads and read the channel’s own video details. - YouTube Analytics, read-only (
yt-analytics.readonly): to read the channel’s own performance reports for a weekly review.
How the data is stored and used
Sign-in tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain on the owner’s computer. Video IDs, links and analytics figures are saved in local files on that computer. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
ITI Publisher’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube
ITI Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
Removing access and data
Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account → Third-party apps & services or the security settings page. Deleting the Keychain entry and the local files removes all stored data.
